  • The Radiology Department at Simpson General is dedicated to delivering exceptional specialty care right in our community. Our primary focus is on leveraging advanced imaging technology to ensure patients receive accurate diagnoses and effective treatments.

    Our Radiology department is staffed by licensed Radiologic Technologists around the clock, providing continuous support with a team that includes Radiology Technologists, CT Technologists, and Ultrasound Technologists.

    Diagnostic Imaging Services

    We proudly offer a comprehensive range of diagnostic imaging services, including but not limited to:

    • X-Ray Imaging (Radiography)**: General diagnostic studies, emergency cases, and portable imaging solutions.
    • CT (Computed Tomography)**: Our state-of-the-art 64-slice CT technology ensures superior image quality and speed. This method uses X-rays to create detailed images of body sections, allowing us to identify abnormalities, assess disease progression, and evaluate the effects of treatment.
    • CT Angiography (CTA)**: Using advanced CT scanners, we provide detailed images of blood vessels and surrounding tissues. With the injection of contrast material via a small catheter in the arm, our skilled radiologic technologists capture high-resolution images that are critical for diagnosing and evaluating various vascular conditions, including:

    Our radiology team is fully accredited by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), and our ultrasound technologists are certified by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).     To work with our team, request that your diagnostic imaging referral be sent to Simpson General Hospital. Then, we can schedule your appointment and complete your testing. Our team will then send your results back to your physician.
