The Simpson General Hospital Marketing Department is the winner of a Maggie Award. Cemper Scott, Public Relations/Marketing, and Shana Lane, Director of Infection Control, Quality, and Risk Management, attended the Mississippi Hospital Association (MHA) Society for Marketing and Public Relations Meeting in Madison on Thursday, November 30, to accept the award.
The 2023 Maggie Award category was for the Outdoor Transit/Billboard campaign advertising the new SGH Drive-Thru Clinic entitled “Stay Seated and Be Treated.”
The Maggie Award is the highest award presented by the MHA and recognizes excellence in the field of healthcare marketing and public relations in Mississippi. The name Maggie is derived from the state flower, the Magnolia. The awards are sponsored by MHA’s Society for Healthcare Marketing and Public Relations, which advances the development of effective marketing and public relations in hospitals, health systems, and other healthcare-related fields.
